Who is S-TEC

S-TEC, LLC was established in 2005 by Stuart Smith to meet the automation needs of customers throughout the Southeastern Pennsylvania region.

As principal designer, Smith draws upon a wealth of experience dealing with the unique demands of a wide range of customers and client cultures, having worked in the field of automation design for more than 40 years with regional firms in Wyndmoor, Lancaster, and Perkasie.

Drawing upon his village of technical partners, Stuart is able to provide turn-key solutions to other business - small and large.

What S-TEC Does

S-TEC is a full-service, design and build, automation company; specializing in turnkey, custom-built machines for automated processes. Automation equipment service, production study and process improvements, product design assistance, design for automation (DFA), solid model design and machine safeguarding integration are all part of S-TEC’s services.

Safe operation is a critical component of every machine we build. We also will review and address existing machinery for:

We adhere to all applicable regulations and standards required to reassemble, commission and start up systems at our customer’s facility in addition to meeting all customer in-house rules and regulations.

Purchasing And Training

We will engage a vendor network and acquire applicable materials, components, fasteners, fittings, finishes, treatments, etc. We work to establish relationships that garner trust through competitive pricing and reliable service.

Training is key to the successful operation of any new equipment. We will inform management and plant personnel regarding the SAFE operations and maintenance of all S-TEC- designed equipment and will conduct this training with all responsible parties on either the plant floor or in “classroom” environments.
